Decoding Binaries

Once the download has finished and everything you want is in green, press F11 or go to the menu. This will create "binaries" folder. In this folder you will find the files.

Or alternatively if you are an expert user you can use whatever yDecoder or UUDecoder on the files in the "segments" folder.

Download

Go to www.binsearch.info or alt.binaries.nl and create a .nzb file of what you want to download.

Open the application, drag this nzb file into the listview (or select the file through the menu). The application may take some time to process a large nzb, but after the nzb is processed. The Listview is populated with the info from the nzb. Along with the subject, you will find the total number of segments and the number of segments downloaded.

To start download check the items you want to download this session, and then File->Download Checked or just press F10. The items you selected will become black and a small blue window will tell you the status of the download.

Setup

First time you open the application two folder are created

1 - articles
This folder contains the refrence information of the articles you want to download

2 - segments :
This folder will contain the retreived data.

Setup is simple , Click the "Setup" menu item and enter the server, port, username, password and the number of connections to the server.

Hi all

This is an application I created so I can download mp3 and other stuff from the Usenet.
It is fairly easy to use.

It is a windows application that needs .net framework to work.
